Christopher J. Kopley, LEP — Co-Owner & Principal
Christopher J. Kopley is a Connecticut Licensed Environmental Professional with over 30 years of experience and a licensed Professional Geologist in Pennsylvania. With a career spanning more than 40 years, he specializes in overseeing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), subsurface investigations, and environmental remediation projects in compliance with federal and Connecticut regulations. He collaborates closely with staff from CT DEEP and has successfully closed hundreds of projects through LEP verification, including those under the Transfer Act, all while maintaining a clean license record.
In addition to his work in Connecticut, Kopley has managed site assessments and projects across 18 other states, including New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Gavin Kopley is the co-owner of Advanced Environmental Redevelopment, where he combines his technical field expertise with a robust background in real estate transactions. He earned a B.S. in Environmental Science with a concentration in Geology from Southern Connecticut State University. In his role, Gavin leads Phase I and II ESAs, conducts comprehensive site assessments, and oversees soil and groundwater characterization on properties throughout Connecticut. His extensive transaction experience enables developers and attorneys to grasp how environmental remediation findings impact deal terms, timelines, and financing.
